Agile PMO Restructuring
Implemented structured agile methodologies for complex scheduling software, bridging the gap between legacy customer requirements and modern cloud-first engineering capabilities.
The Challenge
Humanity Schedule, a robust workforce management tool, was dealing with heavy legacy requirements that were slowing down their transition to a modern, cloud-first architecture. The lack of a structured PMO meant that engineering was constantly context-switching, leading to burnout and stalled releases.
Our Architectural Solution
We conducted a deep architectural and process audit. Our strategy focused on untangling legacy dependencies and establishing a rigid but adaptable Agile PMO (Project Management Office). We created clear boundaries between maintenance tasks and new architectural development.
The Execution
We deployed a validated PMO framework, standardizing how requirements were gathered, groomed, and executed. We also guided the UI/UX realignment to ensure the technical backend changes translated into a seamless, accessible user experience.
